Upon graduating from college, Marianne started her career in travel with Trans World Airlines.  This began a 2-year adventure of traveling around the United States and Europe as a flight attendant.  Following her time at TWA, Marianne began travel agent training at an agency in South Texas, where she participated in workshops with the large reservation service Sabre Inc. and attended seminars from other well known services.  She then received a post at the well known Sanborn's Travel Service of Corpus Christi and Kingsville, Texas.  After Sanborn, Marianne landed a coveted position as an agent at the prestigious Carlson Travel Network in Pebble Beach, California.  In 1992, she became an independent travel consultant affiliating herself with several top travel agencies in California and Texas.  Her client base, established across the country through transfers and simple "word of mouth" referrals, continued to grow. Marianne formed her own company, Drifting Sands Travel in 2004, specialing in the type of travel planning she enjoys the most: beach vacations and cruises.  She knows how to listen and how to ask all the right questions for her clients.  Marianne and her team continously attend seminars and are members of important associations such as Certified Sandals Specialist, OSSN, IATAN, ASTA and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce.
